Default So I have algae...

There's algae growing on the inside of my tank! I don't quite understand why, I keep the tank clean (weekly water changes) and I see the snail sucking at the algae regularly.

I was going to get one of those magnets for cleaning, do these help or is there something else I should do? It's just odd little green spots, not all over green.

My fishy just doesn't seem happy, I never get any bubbles from him anymore...is there anything that might cheer him up?

Algae is good! As long as your tank doesn't get covered in it. Your snail will enjoy it, and should take care of it! The magnet pads are great if it starts to get out of hand, or just any tank brush with a handle... You have a betta right? I know they enjoy silk plants/real plants to hide away in...

Ah that's good then, thank you It is only small blobs, maybe the snail is just lazy when it comes to cleaning...he seems to sleep a lot!

I've just bought a small magnet, just incase it gets out of hand.

And yep, I have a Betta and lots of silk plants...

I wonder if I should try live bloodworm? I've got dried, which he enjoys, but maybe live would be more appealing.

Your tank looks great Sarah!!! I use the double sided magnet cleaner too, love it! My snails and Chinese Algae eater aren't doing a great job either, my couple snails are tiny so I just got a Pleco yesterday to help them out
