Aww I'm so sorry. Blackie was definitely a favorite of mine. I will miss him a lot. He lived a long wonderful life.

I'm so sorry. I was praying for a better outcome. {{{HUGS}}} It will be ok, if he could I'm sure he would tell you how much he loves you and thank you for helping him through this.

Im so sorry, blackie was a beautiful boy who lived a long full life and you did what was best for him even though it hurts, I wish there was something to say to help ease the pain, and i will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Rest well Blackie.

I am so sorry, but it sounds like you are doing the right thing by Blackie. I know it doesn't make it easier though. Hope his passing is peaceful.

So very very sorry. But Katz is right, you have given this lucky boy a long and happy life. Sadly there are way too few dogs that get to experience that.
I know everybody here is feeling for you right now, I can't help shedding a tear over this thread - I don't do that easily, and it isn't for Blackie because I consider him to have been lucky and loved, it's for you because I know how much letting him go will hurt.
